In case you haven’t heard, Sub Pop’s summer sampler album is up and available for free downloading. The album - containing my favorite Fleet Foxes song, a silly Flight of the Conchords ditty, and others from Iron and Wine, Handsome Furs, The Vaselines, and Vetiver - is nice, but the website is another added treat. Even if you’re not particularly interested in downloading a free album (because you suffer from a debilitating lack of common sense due to a head injury), you should at least check out the intentionally crap-tastic website. It’s a 1999 HTML time warp, yo! Reminds me that I still have an abandoned Angelfire website gathering dust somewhere out in cyberspace…
