I know what you’re thinking. July 1st? Isn’t it a bit EARLY for fireworks? Well, my redneck neighbors have been setting them off nightly since early June, and considering they have no fewer than eight American flags adorning the outside of their home as well as one hanging from the paintball stand they’ve erected in their backyard, I’m pretty confident that they know a thing or two about patriotism. Namely, that it’s loud, sparkly, and is best enjoyed with country music and beer. God bless it.
