The Raconteurs - Carolina Drama
I have never been a big fan of The White Stripes (although as with most bands that I’m not a “big fan of”, I probably never gave them a fair chance), but I first heard this album by The Raconteurs a few days ago and thought to myself, “this is what the white stripes would sound like if they were cool”. What a fool I was, not realizing that I was hearing the voice of Jack White.
This is a wonderful little tale, reminiscent of Rocky Raccoon, just a little more gruesome. I never realized Jack White was such a good story teller. While this song may allow you to forget to dance, it is too cool to go unmentioned.
