According to Wikipedia, “Fanfarlo is a London-based indie pop band formed in 2006 by the Swedish musician Simon Balthazar.” They’ve put out a few singles since then, but they finally released their first LP, Reservoir, back in February. It’s full of catchy pop hooks, lilting vocals (sort of a cross between David Byrne and Zach Condon of Beirut), and the varied instrumentation that we’ve all come to expect of any respectable indie group these days.
