Department of Eagles - “In Ear Park”
I don’t remember what got me thinking about Department of Eagles, but I’ve recently rediscovered their 2008 LP, In Ear Park, and have been listening to it on a bit of a loop. Daniel Rossen (aka, Grizzly Bear) and Fred Nicolaus are the duo behind this pretty, pretty melding of folk, pop and electronica, but even if you don’t dig on Grizzly Bear so much, don’t fret. I don’t really care much for Grizzly Bear either, however, this? This I like.
