When you’re a garage band comprised of high schoolers who tend to lapse into fake British accents, you call yourself The Vox Jaguars, and you go and release a song called “Swagger,” then you better be prepared to step up and bring it. Fortunately, after listening to their EP - which sounds a bit like The Hives before they started sucking - I think it’s safe to say that that it’s been broughten. The four songs on this EP reveal that, while these tater tots may still do well with a little more time in the oven, they have loads of potential.
